We all love a bit of shopping

I still cannot believe how quickly my time here has flown by, i was pretty apprehensive when i first set off for my first charity mission, and now it has felt like home apart from the really cold nights and the illness.

Wednesday I managed to get myself out into a bit of sunshine, myself and Gemma took a walk into Plaza de Armes for late breakfast, it was freezing inside and i needed the sun to warm me up a little.  I had a vegetable omelette with rice and at this point my head was really pounding and my body ached, but i had to keep going as i had promised to take the girls shopping for warm clothes.

It was going to be a fun afternoon despite me feeling really poorly, i had planned on taking 5 of the new girls and mamita Carmen shopping for some new clothes, at this point i am not sure who was more excited, them for being taken out for a couple of hours or me, with the idea having a girly afternoon with these little girls and just buying them warm new clothes.

I bought them all jumpers and socks and warm trousers, very happy bunnies and i even treated them to a condensed milk ice cream sundae thing which was being sold on the street, i personally cannot handle so much sugar but they didn’t seem to mind it much.

Having spent a few hours shopping, we did really well to come home with a quite a few bags and once we got back home, i felt relieved to be able to sit down.  So my health seemed to decline even more and i wasn’t feeling to well and was a lot colder than before.  So we were back in time for dinner and everyone was home so plates were laid out ready for food.  It wasn’t as late as i thought but i think due to my health i had no choice but to go to bed as my shivering was becoming increasingly worse and i wasn’t feeling to well at all.
