My name is Saima Lodhi, born and raised in the City of Birmingham UK from a working class Muslim family with my parents originally from Karachi Pakistan.  During my life growing up and watching people come and go out of my life I felt i wanted to be remembered for doing something meaningful and be part of a positive change.

In 2015 I began a journey of dedicating as much of my time in helping those less fortunate, the less able and spreading that positive energy in a world that needs to be reminded of all the beauty and love that surrounds us .  This is something I had wanted to be a part of for such a long time, then one day I took the decision to stop thinking about how I could volunteer and help charities and wishing I could help others, to actually researching, contacting organisations and booking flights to different countries to offer my support to those who need it most.

This is my journey I have every intention of continuing, with passion and God’s blessings, going as far as I’m able to go and being fortunate enough to find myself and  spending time among people of all faiths and religions, cultures and backgrounds in their own familiar surroundings. and habitat.

I plan to blog about all my experiences and share the adventures best way I can, because not everyone gets given the opportunity but if I can encourage others, I certainly hope my experiences helps you to get involved.
